Did you give a pacifier to your fed newborn?

I did end up giving my son one before he was 2 weeks old. He was being fed but he wanted to be on there 24/7 so my mom got one of the pacifiers that is straight and looks like the nipple. I never had a problem with him at all because of the pacifier. He however would just not nurse long enough without falling asleep and just screamed all day long because he was hungry but didn't want to eat.
