Yes in some ways because there's more competition with other women you know? Its likely that there will be more women throwing themselves to your man and so the initial reaction would be to defend haha. And guys who are aware that they are good looking will most likely take advantage of that. So um yeah I wouldn't date a guy hotter than me.
