I don't think so. Middle east hasn't a dictatorship but Saudi Arabia and Yemen's government very look like a dictatorship state.

Firstly you have not actually stated how old you actually are. But age is always on the increase and though you feel you should be 15 it will not be long before you are. Also there will come a time you will look back and wish you were 15 again. Age is a state of mind I am old but I feel young you have a long life ahead of you. Take each day as it comes and be grateful for it.

Are these bands mainstream or are they just known to be really good?

They're all mainstream. Metallica is by far the best out of the bunch because they are pioneers of Thrash metal. They were underground until the early 90's when they released the black album. BFMV are a bunch of *******, Korn is TOO repetitive, SOAD was really good. And nirvana is okay. Everything else is just damned awful.
