Why is The Last Airbender full of white people?

Why did they cast primarily white actors for the feature film adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender? Despite their personal names I theorize that Waterbenders are Inuit or Eskimos, Firebenders are Mandarin or Japanese [Sun worshipers = Mayan or Aztec], Earthbenders are Southern Chinese (perhaps Guangdong), and Airbenders are Tibetan. The various names have Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Indochinese origin. So, how do these ingredients equal Anglo-Saxon? Is it because it is an American film? I thought Hollywood matured past nonsense like this. This casting isn't even an ethnic mix of protagonists. And they only cast young Mr. Patel by default. Was it really that hard to find young Asian-American actors who also are willing to study martial arts for a big summer movie? I mean, there were more Asian voice actors in Kung-Fu Panda (That movie was superb by the way.) I understand that your race has nothing to do with behavior or individual personality, but I'm talking about this grevious are of casting as relates to the original work. I mean what if the Lord of the Rings was casted with all Asian or African Actors; no matter how wonderfully acted. Wouldn't that look a tad off?

You're supposed to use Perfect and Protect under your moisturiser. Which do you prefer - relationships or friendships?

I'm interested to know what you guys think of this. Personally, I prefer friendships so much - they're like having all the good parts of a relationship without the bad. My best friend, for instance is one of my absolute favorite people - sweet, friendly, helpful, gentle, caring, consoling, and very funny :D I just love her to bits. And then there's my relationships - both have ended terribly, the first was a 5 timing gold-digger who I obviously dumped, the second a controlling, insecure and very selfish bunny boiler (that one is ending soon too for this reason). I know decent relationships are possible, but I guess I've just been unlucky. I'd definitely take my BFF over some tart who's going to mistreat me. How about you guys, which do you prefer?

Reflection on The Great Gatsby?

The Great Gatsby is a reflection of the American Dream. Gatsby's life goal was to get enough money to please Daisy. In the end, though, Gatsby was killed due to Daisy's (fatal) mistake, and Daisy and Tom went about life as though nothing had ever happened. My interpretation is that happiness CANNOT be bought with money, and Gatsby's death is furthur proof of the superficial realities of the American Dream. That's how I saw it, anyway. I hope that helped.

I was just walking and i hear the bushes shake i look back and see a big mouth.
