Unable to get full 1080p from Dell Studio 17 to Sony Bravia KDL-40V3000?

I have my Dell Studio 17 connected to my Sony Bravia KDL-40V3000 via HDMI. The laptop has the Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics accelerator. I recently reinstalled Windows Vista from scratch, updated all of the drivers downloaded from Dell's website and ever since I did that, I am not getting a full screen picture on the TV. The display settings say the resolution is at 1920x1080 but the image appears on the screen with black bars on the top, bottom and sides of the image, as though it is not taking up the full screen. I have not made any changes to the TV, so I know it is not a setting on the TV (To test that, I went into the TV settings and tried messing with the picture, setting it to full, wide zoom, zoom...nothing makes it take up the full screen). Did Intel make a change to the driver that is now not allowing it to correctly display on my TV?
